The Kronplatz mountain
Cutting edge facilities for ascending the mountain and the
best prepared pistes at the edge of the Dolomites
The 2275-metre high Kronplatz is the most famous mountain in Pustertal - a perfect destination for families, walkers, mountain bikers and nature fans in summer and ski fanatics in winter.
Skiers are guaranteed snow in this winter sports region, thanks to the numerous artificial snow machines - and the ski runs can be used right into the spring.
Sports enthusiasts can look forward to spending time on the Kronplatz: with 199 kilometres of perfectly prepped pistes and 32 cutting edge lift facilities, the ski region offers the ideal environment for all piste types. The gentle downhill slopes of the mountain offer beginner and advanced skiers plenty of space for wide, sweeping turns on its broad, treeless mountainsides. Powder hounds will find their skills challenged by the five black diamond runs, known as the "Black 5".
Winter fun
On and off the piste
Naturally, snowboarders and freestylers can get their share of fun at the Snowpark Kronplatz. Action and adrenaline is already part of the package in your adventure holiday in the Dolomite mountains.
With one of the largest ski schools of the South Tyrol, the Kronplatz mountain offers a wideranging selection of classes and ski events for young and old. The right equipment can be hired from a number of ski hire stations on site.
After a perfect day of skiing, the party locations and discos next to the piste invite you to let your hair down and celebrate.
